Forget SeaWorld, and go to Gather Kava Bar to try some great flavored and traditional kava amongst the chill, fun vibes, and cool people. The kava will give you a relaxed and socializing feeling, but you can still drive and be in sobriety to enjoy its mild but noticeable effects. It’s in the heart of North Park too so you can walk outside and walk around the cool area with lots of great food options and more.

The guy with the beard ……………. I can’t even begin to tell you how he treated me. He was so friendly so attentive and super welcoming. I felt that he displayed the upmost respect and customer service any one could ask for . He has a passion for equality and love for all and is always making me feel loved and appreciated as a gay man. Wowzer the guy with the beard is super cool .

First time having Kava and really enjoyed it! Super cool place and the bartender was very helpful in explaining kava and what to order. Nice couches and different seating options if you need to work. Recommend!

Absolutely love this place! The bartenders and the kava are top notch. Cora is spectacular at her job and is the sweetest person. Dan is not only amazing at his job, but he is probably the most accepting person in the world - he has become an amazing friend. Seabass is so great at his job and a lovely person to encounter. Paul is a great mentor and pal. Kristen is so skilled and brings the best vibe. I highly recommend checking this place out because it has become the best place to go for fun in recovery!

Got the kava flight and was really impressed you definitely get a buzz but it's a different kind of buzz. Sebastian was a cool guy explaining the culture aspects of kava and the drinks as they came out. Worth a try for sure.

Best place to hang out and socialize. LOVE the staff and owners are great! Paul is definitely my favorite. Helps me with anxiety and muscle tension. been coming here for 3 years and gotta say it's a great place!

Came to check this place out since I was curious about Kava and Paul helped me out made me feel very welcome and was super nice. He also explained what Kava is and gave me some info on it. Will definitely be back when I'm back in town. Recommend this place for sure.

best place. Feels right to be at and be yourself. Been here/ to go a lot but coming in in the day w my bf-> found the whole outdoor part and games!! The staff is great and there are sweet dogs sometimes the furniture is dope glad to live so close
